Professional background: Chris was a Detective Inspector having 20 years’ experience which started as a PC with the Lancashire Constabulary in 1995. During his time he developed his career, working with many different sectors of the Police including Proactive Intelligence Investigations, Problem Solving and Specialist Crimes. Chris developed a keen interest in intelligence, specifically: IT solutions, which lead him to designing the UK National Crime Agency Organised Crime Coordination Centre (OCCC) and the national targeting system for organised crime groups. Chris has also been instrumental in national strategy as an author of part of the UK Serious Organised Crime Strategy and he received a national commendation for his work on developing and delivering a UK-wide integrated operating model. Chris’ skills fitted perfectly with MASS’ core values and he joined MASS in 2016. Since then he has been developing MASS’ digital forensics and intelligence capabilities.

What Chris will be doing at MASS: Due to the hard work of the MASS team securing a 7 year contract with the Metropolitan Police Service to supply digital forensics as a managed service, Chris will be leading a team to assist Police Forces and Agencies to on-board onto the contract.   Chris will also be leading a team supporting law enforcement agencies with Digital Intelligence and Investigation capabilities such as a Non-attributable Internet Connection Service.

Personal hobbies/interesting facts: Chris is a self-confessed ‘movie addict’ who enjoys spending time with his family whenever possible.
