A team from MASS is once again taking on the Cotswolds Challenge raising money for Lymphoma Action and Prince of Wales Hospice, Pontefract. The challenge comprises a 100km walk day and night over two days from Bath to Cheltenham, 30th June – 1st July. The countryside route is a true endurance challenge, walking non-stop over steep hills, footpaths and trails.
Over the last 4 months, the team have gradually stepped up their training regime starting at the Black Sluice Navigation Channel trek (31km), to various challenging routes across the Peak District including Mam Tor, The Great Ridge, Mad Woman’s Stones and Ringing Roger.
The team’s latest adventure included completing an abridged version of the Edale Skyline all in all, a 30km trek. The team now feel they are ready to take on the Cotswolds Challenge. For more on the team’s progress visit: http://bit.ly/2tkOkgZ
