MASS supports Cyber Choices workshop at Google’s offices.

Our cyber team recently partnered with Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) to deliver a workshop at Google’s London offices. It was organised as part of the Cyber Choices national programme created to help young people make informed choices and use their cyber skills legally and ethically. The programme is coordinated by the National Crime Agency and delivered by Cyber Choices teams within Regional Organised Crime Units and Local Police Force Cyber Teams, supported by industry partners.

The workshop focussed on promoting positive, legal cyber opportunities. For its part, the MASS team shared insights on how cyber skills can be used positively, including protecting national infrastructure and routes into the cyber industry. At the end of the session, there was a technical challenge for all participants to get involved with the winner receiving a prize of a Google Nest mini.

Our engagement with the Cyber Choices programme further demonstrates our passion for inspiring the younger generation in the tech industry and our desire to give them an opportunity to thrive.
